Our story
Made slowly, on purpose.
Ember & Oak started in a very small kitchen with one pot, a thermometer, and a suspicion that homes feel better when the things in them are made with care.
The first candles were weekend experiments — poured on a stovetop, labeled with masking tape, and handed to friends. The friends kept asking for more. Then their friends did. At some point “can I buy three?” became a business plan.
We've grown since, but not much — and that's deliberate. Everything we sell is still made in small runs: candles poured by hand, soap cured for six full weeks, throws knitted from recycled cotton, stoneware glazed one piece at a time. Small batches mean we can obsess over every one.
Our promise is simple: honest materials, fair prices, and goods that earn their place in your home by actually being used. Nothing precious. Nothing disposable. Just the good stuff, made slowly, on purpose.
